Courses from an Introduction to woodturning to  a more advance course.

3 Lathes available, with dust extraction by Camvac.

Introduction to woodturning course 

Contents:- Safety Equipment, The Lathe, Basic Tool Requirements and Sharpening, Timbers for Turning and putting your new skills into practise.  

1 Day course:- aimed for you to try woodturning, this course will cover the basic and will include up to 2 projects time permitting.

2 Day course:- aimed at learning  the basics and will include up to 4 projects time permitting.

3 Day course:- will give you the chance to spend more time on the projects and cover them in more detail.

1 Day Course £80      2 Day Course £150 

3 Day Course £220

Hourly   tuition is available at an hourly rate of £15.  

Intermediate courses:- are available to advance your ability and to learn new skills and ways. This includes wet turning, hollowing and square edge bowls.

1 Day Course £100

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.   

9am – 5pm or if you prefer  half days, morning or afternoons, 

Date to be arranged with student.
